Who is it aimed at?
 
MiDAS is applicable to any organisation operating or using minibuses. Member organisations include sports clubs, youth groups, community groups, church groups and a range of individuals who want to help out in the community by driving a minibus. If a driver has a D1 category on driving license then the driver can drive up to a 16 seater minibus provided they have passed MIDAS. If a driver has just a B1 category on their driving license then the driver can drive up to a 10 seater minibus provided they have passed MIDAS. 

What will I gain from completing MiDAS?

Improved driving skills, a nationally recognised driving qualification which will help employability and the ability to drive a 16 seater minibus hired from Fermanagh Community Transport or other provider.

How much will it cost?
 
The MiDAS qualification costs £50 per person which includes both the theory session with exam and the practical driving test. The fee is payable on booking a place on the course and is non-refundable. Click here for a MIDAS booking form.
